Press Release: Southern California Tsunami Blues Series Coming To Multiple Venues

Southland blues band The Barnburners have teamed with over eighteen other California blues bands to perform live at various venues throughout Southern California to benefit the victims of the recent Tsunami in Southeast Asia.

Joe McGaha (lead singer of The Barnburners) is spear-heading this effort with veteran musician & promoter Greg Serrato as Primary Advisor. "This is a great opportunity for fans to see more bands in one day than they could normally see in a month," says McGaha. Although there are currently four events booked, the series may be adding further events at a later date. "There are still a few venues in Southern California considering hosting these benefits," says McGaha. "So depending on their level of interest, and the success of these three upcoming events, the series may continue through the Spring, and possibly into the Summer."

The proceeds from the donations will go to Project Concern:
http://www.projectconcern.org. 100% of the donation will support tsunami disaster relief efforts in India and Indonesia.
